VH1’s Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School hosted by Mo’nique wrapped up with a teary season finale with Saaphyri graduating and taking home the $50,000 grand prize. The hairstylist from 54th & Crenshaw in LA, competed with 12 other former Flavorettes from season 1 & 2 of the Flavor of Love reality show starring hip hop icon Flavor Flav. Charm School aimed to teach the girls proper etiquette and to smooth out some of those rough edges. We caught up with the winner Saaphyri and runner-up Leilene and they shared with us some of the things fans didn’t see behind the scenes and how the show changed their lives:

Flavor of Love Girls Charm School had some pretty dramatic moments sometimes exposing the not so charming side of it’s participants. Saaphyre and Leilene say they have no regrets about being on the show:

SAAPHYRI & LEILENE: “We have no REGRETS”

Charm School graduate Saaphyri who was once homeless has big plans with that 50 g’s. She’s launched her own line of Indian hair for weaves and designs full lace wigs for patients living with cancer. Saaphyri shares her biggest goal:

Rap trio Da Shop Boyz is part of a long list of rappers reppin the ATL and keeping the city’s hit making tradition in tact with their club banger “Party Like A Rock Star.” Sheed, Meany and Fat who were once car mechanics have come with their own brand of party rap called “hood rock”. Sheed tells us what inspired the style and their hit single “Party Like A Rock Star.”

Sheed goes on to tell us who his favorite rock stars are:

Da Shop Boyz: “….We think Diddy, 50 Cent and T.I. are Rock Stars…”
