Super producer Swizz Beats has produced many platinum hits for everybody from Madonna and Mary J. Blige to 50 Cent and Lil Wayne. He’s made millions and has even been listed in Forbes Magazine as one of the Elite Multimillionaires in hip hop. Swizz has been consistently puttin’ it down for almost a decade…he gives us a little insight on what it takes to be a successful producer:

Swizz often contributes vocals on some of the songs he produces for others, somewhat playing the background but now he’s stepped to the forefront with the release of his solo debut “One Man Band.” He’s center stage with mic in hand and has invited a few friends like Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, and Ciara to get down on the project. Cuts like “Its Me Bitches and “Money In The Bank” is creating major buzz around the album. We asked Swizzy does he feel he’s finally getting his just due after puttin in work for nearly 10 years:

Dogg Pound Gangstaz, Daz and Kurupt recently announced that they’ve inked a deal with Cash Money Records and plan to release their next album West Coast Aftershock on the New Orleans’ based label. Although, the forthcoming project isn’t due out til 2008, Daz has already leaked the first single on the Internet title Ch-Ching. Check it out….

Congratulations goin’ out to Kurupt and Gail Gotti, they recently tied the knot in Kurupt’s hometown of Philadelphia. The two lovebirds exchanged vows in the company of 200 of their closest friends and family. Awwww….. (character clasp hands near cheek)

Since radio talk show host Don Imus’ racial slur situation earlier this year, folks from everywhere including various Black leaders, have been coming down hard on the lyrics of some of today’s biggest rap stars including T.I. who believes that parents should be the biggest role models and influencers over today’s youth:

T.I’s latest album T.I. vs T.I.P. debut at #1 on Billboards top 200 chart making it his second #1 album with in a year and a half. He describes his new effort as a “battle within himself” with TIP being his alter ego. Lets check out one of his classic videos.
