Big Snoop Dogg joins the growing list of rap superstars steppin’ in to the world of reality TV. Snoop tell us about his new reality show:

SNOOP DOGG:“NEW REALITY SHOW”

Rev Run, Salt N Pepa and the king of reality TV, Flava Flav are just a few rap stars with high rated cable shows. Snoop speaks on why he believes their programs are so popular:

Be sure to check for The Doggfather Sunday nights on the E channel. In other Snoop D.O. double G news: He’s in the studio puttin’ the finishing touches on his 9th studio album..Ego Trippin’. The first single from the CD, Sexual Eruption, is a little different from what we’re use to hearing from Snoop. He explains:

Snoop’s Ego Trippin’ is scheduled to drop March 2008.

Rapper and actor Treach of Naughty by Nature is building quite a body of work not only in hip hop music but in film. He has over 10 movies to his acting credit and has just wrapped up his role as Neil Shaw in the straight to DVD flick…Intervention, it was the follow up to Wesley Snipes action film Art of War and was originally titled Art of War 2 but was changed to Intervention and is supposedly no longer considered the sequel. Reportedly, Snipes has filmed his own sequel to the Art of War. We’ll keep ya posted on that one…Speaking of Treach, he plans to release his first solo album called OG-ology and is also working on the new Naughty by Nature album due out sometime in 2008.


Rap vet Too Short is wrappin up his longtime relationship with Jive Records by releasing Get Off The Stage, a 10-song commemorative album that will include all new songs featuring E-40, Mistah Fab and The Pack. Short says he has big plans once he’s free from the label:

To celebrate his independence Too Short will release another album, his first independent project in 20 years. Short tells us what to expect:
