Episode 41: N.E.R.D., Rock The Bells Tour, & Lil Wayne

What's up everybody and welcome to the Hip Hop Report! In this episode we are covering all the basis. We are going to see what's up with N.E.R.D and them involving colors in their music, check out who is head lining on the Rock the Bells 2008 tour and check on Lil Wayne blowing up the charts with A Milli. This is the way it goes down on this episode of the HIP HOP REPORT!

It was rumored that Pharrell and Chad of the Neptunes had broken up for a bit but the platinum production team are back with Shay as N.E.R.D. The lastest album "SEEING Sounds" is described by Skateboard P for fans to rock out and be taken on an emotional roller coaster.

Chad Hugo said this new sound ranges from HIP HOP to PUNK. He thinks it sounds more aggressive, more focused than any of their other work.

If you dig the Neptune sound - N.E.R.D. will be on Glow in the Dark Tour with Kanye West.

For those that are dedicated to Hip Hop let be known That rock the Bells - Hip Hop festival is bringing out the legends... A Tribe called Quest, Nas , Mos Def and De LA Soul will be Headlining the tour which kicks off July 19th. Get you Tickets early because this is only a 10 city tour - Headed to Toronto, Philly, and Vancouver for the first round.

The bill will also include Method Man & Redman, Raekwon & Ghostface, and Rakim - breaking out the Classics! And, reuniting as special guest will be Los Angeles own PHARCYDE!

In other news - Lil Weezy is still blowing up the spot. Reports tell us he is planning to be as big as any Rock Star there ever was and has a plan to be largest selling artist of this year. He's been dominating the radio and video play with the summer anthem "Lollipop"!
