Thousands of people came out to bid their farewell to comedian and actor Bernie Mac, who began his career as a stand up comedian and caught his first major break on Russell Simmon’s Def Comedy Jam. Mac became one of the Original King’s of Comedy with fellow comics Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer and DL Hughley. The comedian with the million dollar smile had a nice number of films to his credit including Ice Cube’s Friday, Ocean’s 11, 12, an 13, Guess Who, Transformers and quite a few others. Just before his death, he wrapped the film Soul Men with co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Isaac Hayes who passed away just one day after Mac. Comedic super star Bernie Mac and Soul giant Isaac Hayes will truly be missed.
